Gaining in popularity, Roussanne is beginning to be featured more as a single varietal wine. As one of the three main white Rhône varietals, this vintage shows off the crisp and fresh side of the flavor profile. Freshly sliced Granny Smith apples and Anjous pears are the first flavors to show both on the nose and palate. The light creamy texture of this wine has a lovely long finish of pineapple and fresh peach. A variety of food pairings are possible: grilled artichoke with lemon garlic aioli; crusty baguette with fresh local olive oil; deviled eggs with garlic and capers all pair well with this. Sushi lovers can enjoy this wine with their salmon avocado roll. This refreshing Roussanne is like Spring in a bottle.
This 100% Roussanne is cold fermented in stainless steel creating a bouquet of stone fruit, honeydew melon, and citrus zest. Creamy meringue with mineral notes on the palate leads to a long finish of Pommelo. Will pair perfectly with lobster ravioli in a tomato cream sauce.
