NOSE: Intense nose of strawberry pomegranate mousse
PALATE: Golden plum, very ripe watermelon, and kumquat
FINISH: A polished and crisp finish of juicy berries and ruby grapefruit
Winemaking notes
Purposeful picks of Mourvedre and Grenache were made at night and pressed in a matter of hours to make this delicate but flavorful rose. The juice and lees were then kept at freezing temperatures for a period of weeks while dry ice was added everyday to mix the lees and protect the juice. This method, in addition to a long and cold fermentation, helps create this intensely aromatic rose wine.
