A night of discovery and "doing something different."
As a scientific field that explores how the sounds you hear alter your perception of taste and flavor, "sonic seasoning" is a truly engaging way to explore wine tasting.
Oftentimes, it is powerfully evident that your sip from the glass is embellished by how you feel. Was the sun shining and warming your face? Were you with a special person? Was the conversation filled with hilarity or deep intimacy? Were you surrounded by a beautiful environment? All of these separately are fabulous, but the sum of that moment's parts is powerful.
This will be an evening of matching a wine's flavor profile with sound. Paying attention to how the tempo and pitch literally embellishes the acidity, sweetness or tannins of what is in your glass. The live music portion of the evening will be further enhanced by a multi-coursed dinner that then translates those same wines into a sensory food and wine pairing experience. Get ready for an engaging evening together on the vineyard.
