A choir of smokey plum, cassis liqueur, freshly turned earth and savory spice illuminates the senses. Soft shouldered tannin and a buoyant acidity ride alongside halos of baked boysenberry and braised blueberry, while notes of mint cocoa perfectly dovetail with Lady Grey tea. The finish resonates with black cherry, cracked white pepper, caramelized pecan and tamari reduction.
Picked throughout September and October, the grapes were fermented into 5-ton open top fermenters and pumped over multiple times per day to achieve maximum extraction. Aged for 17 months in mostly neutral French Oak.
