Tasting Notes
Nose: Vibrant nose with notes of stewed blackberries, dried herbs and a touch of nutmeg
Palate: Blueberries, chocolate espresso beans, and star anise
Finish: Pomagrante seeds and cherry cola lead to a bright finish with subtle chalky tannin
Winemaking
Ted chose the best barrels of Cabernet Clone 8 for its earthy character to blend with barrel select Mourvèdre and Petite Verdot. The Mourvèdre softens the impact of the Cabernet and Petite Verdot making a beautiful elegant food wine. Barrel aged for 22 months in French Oak.
